Meeting Magic launches online service to help groups achieve better follow up after meetings

Meeting facilitation company, Meeting Magic, is launching a new service, this month, in response to changing customer needs. At the moment, after a meeting or conference has finished, Meeting Magic captures the content that has been developed and presented and sends it to the client via email. These are known as the ‘outputs’. They provide a record of what has been discussed and the actions that have been agreed. The new service has been developed to respond to today’s global, online way of working.
Katherine Woods, founder of Meeting Magic explains, “over the past six to twelve months, we have seen a noticeable shift in the type of content used in meetings and at events. Online video clips, digital images and links to web pages and online discussion forums are some of the materials being incorporated into today’s discussions. Our challenge has been to find an effective way of bringing together all of our clients’ content and combining it with the graphical outputs we generate during meetings. We wanted to find an efficient and effective way of delivering all of this material to our clients once the meeting or conference has ended.”
The new service means clients can receive the ‘outputs’ from their meeting or conference, collated and programmed, ready to upload to their company Intranet or Internet site. The graphics drawn by Meeting Magic can be used to label different files and help break up the large quantities of information into manageable chunks.
Katherine concludes, “we are keen to support groups so that work continues long after a meeting or conference has finished. Face-to-face meetings are a great way of building trust amongst colleagues and generating a feeling of energy towards a project or initiative. Being able to access the ‘outputs’ online, after a meeting or conference has ended, will help discussions to live on. Online ‘outputs’ are much more likely to be used on an on-going basis because they can be easily updated and amended. Any changes to documentation are then immediately available to employees, without the need to send new versions of large documents via email. For our large corporate customers, the ability to easily access the ‘outputs’, no matter where you are in the world, is key.”
